Refund of tickets

Due to the cancellation of this year’s Bregenz Festival, a returns policy applies to all tickets purchased for the 2020 season. The value of the ticket can be refunded, a voucher can be issued, or part or all of the sum paid can be donated.

Returns policy:

  • This online form for the exchange or refund of tickets is available until 15 December 2020. Submitted forms will be processed in chronological order according to the date of submission. Within each process a maximum of 10 tickets can be submitted.
  • Only tickets physically in your possession can be submitted. In case of private distribution or commercial resale, only the ultimate cardholder is authorized.
  • Tickets purchased from,, or one of their agents will be refunded only by the respective ticket agency.
  • If you would like your refund in form of a voucher, please send an email to with your order information and your full address.
  • For a donation of the total or partial amount of the ticket, please send an email to So that donations from Austrian private individuals are tax-deductible, we require the full name as given on the resident registration and date of birth of the donor. We will pass on this data to the tax authorities so that it can be taken into account in the tax declaration. Visitors from Germany will automatically receive a donation receipt so they can provide the tax authorities with proof of the donation.
